The bedroom pictured at the top left is the Mayfair Room. It is one example of our guests rooms. There are 2 living salons on the first floor, one of which pictured here has a cable television available for guests. The other photograph is the music room where piano lessons are taught by Mrs. Stivala.

The Gansevoort House is also a literary retreat since the Canal Celebration in 1990 when Linda Stivala began bookselling. Meet the Author Teas and Parlor Music events are held. Books are placed throughout the inn for the use of guests to enjoy. One book in particular,The Central New York Bed and Breakfast Association cook book is available for sale and has a Recipe Collection of the members.
